Crossroads on a priority road

The W102 black-cross warning sign means a crossroads is ahead while you are on the priority road. Look for traffic joining or crossing from either side; priority does not remove the need for care.

Prepare for a roundabout

A roundabout warning gives you time to choose your exit, reduce speed and select a lane. At the entry, normally give way to traffic on your right and follow any signs or markings.

Guidance and information help you plan

Guidance signs show destinations, directions and changes in road layout. Information signs provide useful road information: for example, NO THROUGH ROAD means the road has no through route. Check the sign’s category and message in the guide.
