How ZedTheory works
A free way to practise for the Zambian driving theory test: Highway Code lessons, road signs and practice questions, with no account to create.
Using the site
- Learn. Start with the Ten Basic Rules, then work through the study topics and the road signs. Go to Learn
- Practise. Quick practice gives you eight questions at a time. Topic practice focuses on one subject. The mock test is thirty questions in thirty minutes, like a real sitting. Go to Practice
- Review. The Progress page keeps your scores, the questions you got wrong and anything you bookmarked, so you know what to read again. Go to Progress
- Apply. When you are ready, read what RTSA asks for and how the test day goes. Before your test
Your progress
There are no accounts. Your progress is saved in this browser on this device only. It is never uploaded. If you clear your browser data, use a private window or switch devices, it starts again. You can delete it yourself from the Progress page.
Once you have opened the site, most pages keep working without a connection. Answers you give offline are saved in the same way.
The site is built to work with screen readers, keyboard navigation and enlarged text. Read the accessibility statement for details and how to report a barrier.
